Living your life is possible
What does it really mean to live your life? Your life and the perception you have of it are two different things. Can you discern the difference? If so, do you notice how they relate or contrast with each other? This is because your life is already being lived.
Therapeutic process
The disease
You
Intense emotions linked to the story-personality (“if I feel it very intensely, it’s a sign that it will be true”).
Emotions
Repetitive thoughts as justification for the personality-story (“If I think about it often, it means it will be so”).
Criterion
Closure in itself. The mentality that generates the problem is the same that aims to fix it.
Humility
Imperative, overbearing or victimizing tone: Either you’re with me or against me.
Assertiveness
Reality understood in terms of control: I only see what I want to see.
Truth
Intolerance of frustration, loneliness, sadness, loss, etc.
Tolerance
Life understood in terms of survival: Improve one’s own life to make it bearable.
Life
Strategic relationships with the aim of demonstrating value or compensating for shortcomings.
Relationships
Denial of wounds: “If I change, or he changes, etc., there will no longer be a wound.”
Wounds
Denial of processes: Craving for immediate changes as a way of testing yourself. Willing is power.
